  • Studying abroad is the best way to learn a language. Trinity Language School provides native Spanish teachers who can help students excel in mastering the Spanish language. Trinity has been a language school in El Puerto de Santa María with a strong heritage for over 25 years. El Puerto de Santa María is located just 10 kilometers south west of Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain. This area provides a rich culture for students to study and immerse themselves in. El Puerto de Santa María is full of monuments that are several hundred years old, such as the cathedral, the bullring, and Saint Marcos Castle. In the nearby city of Cádiz, students can visit a watchtower called Torre Tavira, which is the highest watchtower in the area and has a system of lents and mirrors thanks to which students can see a panoramic 360 degrees image of what is happening in that very moment on the Bay of Cádiz, projected on a concave horizontal screen.

Course Information

  • Course focus : 
     It is a Spanish language course to learn Spanish in Spain for adults aged 17 and over and for school groups during the year. Special courses for GCSE revision both in the summer for groups or individuals students. Also during the mid term breaks, Easter holidays in school groups, School groups can be as little 8 students at the same level. Host family accommodation in full board with activities and cultural excursions. In as short a time as two weeks students will master elementary Spanish and in four weeks they will get to grips with more fundamental language in order to be able to have a conversation with the locals and read the newspapers.

    Curriculum : 
    The General Spanish Course is a program with 20 classes per week. Classes begin at 9:30am and continue until a break at 11:00am . The second session begins at 11.20am and class finishes at 12.50pm .During the lessons you will learn the five different aspects of Spanish: listening, reading, writing, grammar and most importantly ...... speaking!Classes are of a maximum of 6-8 students and the levels of courses range from beginners to advanced.

    Intensive Spanish Course is a program with 25 classes per week. Classes begin at 9:30am and continue until a break at 11:00am . The second session begins at 11.20am and class finishes at 12.50pm.The basic outline of this program follows the description for the General Spanish Course, but with an additional class from 13.00pm till 13.45pm used to focus on the points of the language most needed by the individual student.

    The 'Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE)', issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry for Education, are official qualifications accrediting levels of competence and command of the Spanish language.Diploma de Español Nivel A1 (Starter level): This qualification attests to sufficient linguistic ability for a very basic range of the most commonly simple expressions used in the Spanish-speaking world and in order to satisfy immediate needs of a concrete type.

    DELE EXAM Course is program with 30 classes per week. Courses start at 8:45am and finish at 13.45pm with a pause at 11.00am and at 12.50pm . The basic outline of this program follows the description above for the General Spanish Course, but with the additional first and the last classes used to focus on the points of the language most needed by the individual student to pass the dele exam.

  • Academia de Idiomas Trinity School offers a wide range of accommodation able to suit the needs of everyone. Students can choose individual or double rooms in shared flats with other students; shared bedrooms can only be booked by students who register together, not individuals. Home stay with a Spanish host family with half or full board in either a single or double room, double rooms can only be booked by students who register together, not individuals. There are also one/two bedroom apartments, hotels, hostels and a camp site beside the beach.

Surrounding Area

  • Puerto de Santa María is a picturesque and lively Spanish city situated on the Costa de la Luz. There are 22 km. of Atlantic coastline around the city and 15 Km of beaches of fine golden sand. This coastline is known as Costa de la Luz because of the unusually clear and intense quality of the light, 3100 hours per year. The city is an important fishing port with a number of historic buildings including the Castle, a palm lined park, a maze of narrow bustling streets, a lively central market and a busy shopping and commercial area.

  • Students have access to bright and cheerful classrooms, computer labs, student lounges for social gathering and eating area.

Activity

  • Trinity School normally takes its students on at least 6-8 excursions/activities during a months stay. These excursions are free. Students receive free of charge a cooking class in the kitchen of the school, bowling evenings, a culture class and a cinema evening each week, and before the Spring Fair we also give the students free Sevillana dancing classes so they can participate fully in the festivities. Students can also enjoy horse riding tours, aquatic sports, and visit world famous Sherry wineries.
