  • ICL Graduate Business School is a boutique university-level business school in New Zealand, offering Master’s degrees, postgraduate and graduate diplomas in business, informatics, hospitality and tourism, and a graduate diploma in teaching early childhood education, which leads to teacher registration. While over 80% of our students are postgraduate we also offer undergraduate diplomas in business, with pathways to university degrees.Our language schools, located in the same building, Auckland English Academy and Bridge International College, offer you pathway courses into ICL if you need to brush up your English before you start your degree or diploma.

    Programme Overview:
    The purpose of this programme is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with people who have general and specialised knowledge and skills that can be applied in a range of operational roles.

    The overall aim of this programme is to transform learners by equipping them with knowledge, essential business skills, attitudes and values underpinning key leadership and management functions in typical business environments. The programme also aims to provide New Zealand business entities with people who are, or can be, employed in management roles at an operational level and who can contribute to the management and leadership of business entities to achieve agreed objectives and achieve the entity’s objectives at an operational level in a bi-cultural and multi-cultural environment.

Accommodation

  • It is recommended you allow at least $100 per week for general living costs if you are in pre-paid homestay accommodation. The homestay fee is $290 – 310 per week. If you choose to live in a flatting situation (sharing a house with others), you will likely be paying approximately $200 – $250 per week in rent, plus a portion of the monthly telephone (approx $45, excluding long distance calls) and electricity rental (approx $60 – $150). You can also expect to pay up to $250 per month for food, depending on the choice and price of the food you eat. These prices also vary greatly depending on how many people you share the house with.

  • Auckland is New Zealand’s biggest and most diverse city, with a population of approximately 1.5 million people. Living in Auckland, you are never more than 20 minutes away from one of the many beautiful beaches. ICL Education campus is located right in the heart of it all in the central CBD. Buses, trains and ferry are a short walk from the campus, making it easy to explore the city. You’ll never be stuck for things to do while in Auckland. The City Centre is by the amazing waterfront with thousands of boats which is why Auckland is called ‘The City of Sails’. Auckland has more boats per capital than any other city in the world! Auckland is the commercial heart of New Zealand, with a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. In the Mercer Consulting 2016 international survey, Auckland was ranked third in the world for its quality of living, for the third year running. The Auckland City website offers a good insight into all the things you can do in our wonderful city, at any budget. School staff will be happy to help you plan your travel.
