Surrounding Area
Granada, in the south of Spain, has captivated poets, musicians, and travellers from all over the world with its unique mixture of Arabic and Christian architecture, its light and its contrasts. History has left many interesting marks on the city today. Now 290,000 people, 50,000 of whom are university students, inhabit Granada and add to the special atmosphere which surrounds its cultural life. We enjoy a terrific location, only 60 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea yet at the very foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where the ski season runs from November to the end of April. The climate has dramatic contrasts and very little rain, almost never from June to September. So people here enjoy a very active social lifestyle in the bars and in the streets.
Facilities
Students will have access to the school every day from 9:00 to 23:00. The school has beautiful patio and terraces with views. Students can utilize free book lending service at a library with more than a thousand books. Once students arrive at the airport, they should take a taxi or the airport bus. If students are taking a cab, students should specifically ask the taxi driver to take them to the Placeta de Albaida since there are two streets named Cuesta de los Chinos in Granada. If students are taking the airport bus, they should take the little red bus no.31 or 35 coming from Plaza Nueva o Gran vIA.
