- Linguaschools started as a small project matching language school students with high quality, ‘hidden’ Spanish language schools. - This has evolved into one of the leading networks of high-quality Spanish language schools in Spain and Latin America. - Over this time we have never compromised on our initial philosophy: to offer an unforgettable experience by providing high quality Spanish courses in a unique cultural context.

Linguaschools MálagaAbout the
Linguaschools was set up by a former Spanish language school student and a spirited backpacker. Both wanted to share their passion for off the beaten path cultural experiences, realising that learning to speak the language is essential to enjoying local culture. Both also recognised that learning a language is also the perfect platform for a profound cultural immersion. Linguaschools started by placing students in handpicked ‘hidden’ language schools, those that offered high quality but struggled to get recognition for their services. These were small to medium-sized language schools with a familiar atmosphere, schools where students have a name not a number. That ideology continues today as we believe high quality language education goes hand in hand with an unforgettable cultural encounter. Back in 2005 we found that this profile of Spanish language schools were barely represented, or very difficult to find by language school students. Linguaschools developed by handpicking a limited selection of the very best Spanish schools. These were schools who believed the same philosophy for cultural immersion and met the very high Linguaschools standards. Over the years, Linguaschools has converted into a network of Spanish schools throughout Spain and Latin America. We have our own schools, as well as working with partner schools who share our philosophy and high standards. Today, many thousands of students per year enjoy the Linguaschools experience. We are dedicated to innovating, maintaining our quality standards, and having fun while doing it.
Focus of Study : Spanish learners have been studying at Linguaschools Malaga since 1982. It was one of the very first Spanish schools in Malaga and will place you in the heart of the old city. Walking around the local neighbourhood is a joy, with al fresco cafes, stunning architecture, and plenty of little tapas bars to try. Just how central is the school? Well, Picasso was born just across the square, in a townhouse that’s been converted into a museum. So if you want to truly know Malaga then you are in the right place.
Benefit, Goal of this course : The intensive Spanish courses are taught in small groups, with students who have the same language proficiency as you. You will work on all aspects of the language: conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and writing. Courses have a communicative character and are designed to improve accuracy and fluency. They increase your confidence and prepare you for speaking Spanish in real world situations. Classes generally take place during the morning. Depending on the season and destination, classes can also be in the afternoon.
Curriculum : Using a communicative methodology, the Intensive 20 and Intensive 25 courses provide rapid improvement while immersing you in the Spanish language. The objective of these courses is for you to be able to communicate and take your Spanish into real world situations.
Classroom Hour :
With the Intensive 20 and Intensive 25 you will have respectively 4 and 5 classes per day, from Monday to Friday. There is a short break for coffee or refreshments between classes.

You’ll learn the nuances of the culture and language, as you join the family for meals and join in their daily routine. Staying with a host family offers a unique insight into a new culture. You truly live like a local and come to understand another way of life. With host family stays you have your own bedroom and privacy.

You can practice Spanish together and get to know the local way of life. Residences are generally very close to the school and some even offer a meal plan.
Surrounding Area
Malaga is a jigsaw puzzle that reflects 2000 years of history. A Roman amphitheatre stands close to a Moorish fortress. Picasso was born here and his museum is inside a 16th-century palace. A baroque cathedral is just steps from modern graffiti and contemporary Michelin-star restaurants. At first you may think that this is many cities in one. The beauty of spending time in Malaga is that you discover a unique thread that ties all the different pieces together. Here is a city that honours a multi-layered past, while creating its own future. Now is the time to be here, before the rest of the world finds out. An afternoon spent relaxing in Malaga can take you in many directions. Go in search of a specific history, perhaps at the Alcazaba. Hang out on a Mediterranean beach, possibly with a little beach volleyball. Follow the Picasso trail or check out Soho, the new art district. Relax in the parks or stroll along the new coastal promenade.
