At Desilena our focus is on teaching at the highest level. All our teachers are native Spanish speakers educated to university degree level with professional experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
We teach both individual and group classes, and, in order to maintain our high levels of effectiveness, our groups are limited to 8 students. Our teaching timetable is from 9 a.m to 8 p.m., so if you wish to immerse yourself in learning Spanish you can do so. From the very first day of your course all lessons are taught completely in Spanish.
We are located in new and modern premises where it is our hope that our students feel comfortable during the time they spend with us.
Our classrooms are fully equipped and, from your first day with us, our staff will do everything possible to make you feel like a member of the Desilena family.
During breaks students can rest, have tea or coffee, practice Spanish with other students, or use the library. Internet access is available and students can either use their own devices using our WiFi signal, or the school computers which are at their disposal.
Levels A1, A2, B1 and B2 by the European reference Framework.
Curriculum :
20 lessons per week (4 lessons per day) from Monday to Friday.
Classroom Hour :
From 9:30 to 12:45.
45 min per one lesson.
The school reserves the right to change the schedules if necessary due to organisational reasons.

The Desilena Spanish language school for foreigners is located in Costa Adeje, in the South of Tenerife, one of the seven Canary Islands.
With us you will be able to learn Spanish while enjoying your holidays, since being located in the South of Tenerife we have sun and warm temperatures throughout the year.
Our school is very close to the main tourist destinations of the island, such as:
- Siam Park, the largest water park in Europe. - Aqua Park Costa Adeje, water park and dolphinarium. - Jungle Park, the best zoo in the south of Tenerife. - National Park “Cañadas del Teide”. - Many beaches with different types of sand and all of them with beautiful landscapes. - Pyramid of Arona, where you can enjoy the best flamenco show in the world with the ballet of the famous dancer Carmen Mota.
Moreover, you can practice a lot of outdoor activities, such as: golf, tennis, diving, surfing, windsurfing, paragliding, fishing, hiking, horse riding or camel riding.
Activity
We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, such as dance, culture, films, cooking classes… in which we enjoy sharing our love of Spanish with you. If your enrolment is active, the weekly activities in the school are free for you. If you are not a Desilena’s student, the price per activity will be 5€.
Getting to he school from the airport
The island of Tenerife has two airports: Reina Sofía airport, is in the south of the island and Los Rodeos airport is in the north. Reina Sofía Airport is used by almost all international airlines, while Los Rodeos Airport is most commonly used for domestic flights.
The school offers you a transfer service from any of the airports to your accommodation (Arona-Adeje). The price is as follows: • from the south airport: € 35 each way • from the north airport: € 90 each way
If your accommodation is in another area, do not hesitate to ask us for the price.
There are many car rental offers on arrival at any of the island's airports. Among the most important companies in the Canary Islands is CICAR.
If you prefer public transport, you can take bus number 343 from both airports to Costa Adeje. To check the schedules you can visit TITSA website.
