The Diploma in Professional Business English Programme (PBEP) offered by Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA), is designed to develop non-native English speakers’ English language skills in preparation for successful entry into their mainstream academic programme of study.PBEP programme concentrates on developing the skills students will need to become a successful and confident language user. Emphasis is placed on improving general language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.The programme consists of 5 levels and may be completed in 10 months.
Curriculum :
The curriculum is taught over a 10-month period covering 5 levels. Classes are held on weekdays Monday to Friday, 5 times a week, 9.00am –2.45pm or 12.30pm – 6.00pm. Average 5 hours per day. However, at times, lessons may be scheduled on Saturday.
Students are assessed regularly with weekly reviews, writing tasks, practice tests and a final examination. Participation and classroom use of English are also taken into consideration. This programme is based in the classroom with some excursions and activities which take students out into the community to use the language they have learnt. Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structures will be awarded the Diploma in Professional Business English by Kaplan Higher Education Academy. Students will be equipped with required language skills and ready to progress into our foundation programme (Certificate in Foundation Studies) or any discipline of the Kaplan Higher Education Academy diplomas.

It is the ideal accommodation location given its proximity to the city center with accessibility to amenities for everyday convenience. It is well-connected by numerous buses and MRT stations, with Dhoby Ghaut station being the interchange for all other connecting lines. Numerous food options at nearby food centers, coffee shops, supermarkets and 24-hour convenience stores are all within walking distance from the residence.
Full-time housekeepers ensure housekeeping is regularly done. There is general cleaning weekly rooms will be cleaned twice a week. Common bathrooms and toilets are cleaned every 2 hours. Rooms Students can look forward to immediately settling in. The Quad room (4-pax sharing ) has:
