A structured English programme involving grammar and the functional use of English, as well as the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students will be able to improve their ability to communicate in a range of social and work situations.
General English Plus Exam Preparation
English Level B1
A practical course that focusses on the skills required to prepare students for a particular English proficiency exam such as Cambridge FCE / CAE, TOEFL or TOEIC*. Kiwi English Academy is a registered TOEIC centre. Recommended self-study time : minimum 5 hours per week.
General English Plus IELTS Preparation
English Level B1
A structured course that includes both General English class and preparation for the IELTS exam. Students will learn test strategies and techniques and practise test questions. IELTS candidates take either General IELTS for immigration purposes or Academic IELTS for entry into New Zealand institutions.
General English Plus Transition to Tertiary
English Level B1
A structured English training scheme that focusses on grammar and the four skills plus the strategies required to prepare students successfully for tertiary study. Specific skills required will also include note-taking, oral presentations, speed-reading and academic writing

ActionKiwi™ is an affiliated company offering comprehensive activity programmes, both after school and on the weekends. We also provide fully-guided tours to the best of New Zealand's sights and activities.
ActionKiwi offers a full range of activity programmes for our students including sports activities for the junior students, short half and one day excursions around Auckland and longer trips to places of interest in the North and South Islands. We also organise exciting programmes full of cultural, sporting and sightseeing interest for short-term tour groups. Kiwi English Academy has an activities coordinator whose job it is to make sure that our students get out and about and enjoy what Auckland has to offer.
