Curriculum :
This course is ideal for students who wish to improve all the four English Language skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening with special emphasis on Speaking.The course has four levels: Beginner, Foundation, Pre-Intermediate and Advanced. Practice and improve your English for various situations. Get a broad understanding of English grammar. Increase your vocabulary. Write longer notes, letters, descriptions, texts. Read and overerall understand real English texts. Increase your fluency and your ability to explain your ideas. Each level is for eight weeks (20 hrs per week). Available throughout the year. Course duration: 8 weeks, 16 weeks, 24 weeks.
You will have the opportunity to improve your range of vocabulary, your confidence in speaking and listening and your accuracy of pronunciation. Your teacher will lead discussions and monitor your conversations and correct you at appropriate times. You will have the chance to speak in pairs and in groups to give you maximum opportunity to practice your spoken English.A variety of materials, from newspaper articles to videos, are used in order to stimulate discussion and additionally to provide input on vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation skills. You will be able to negotiate with other course participants some of the subjects you wish to discuss in class, although the teacher will choose the topics of conversation for the first week of the course.

International Students who come to study English or any other Language with Rosemounts stay at the school's accommodation which is simple, clean, comfortable and spacious. It is in acres with trees and lots of open spaces. The students usually play badminton carom board, chess and other games in the evening. There is a fridge, television, microwave oven, a gas burner and a washing machine.. The students can also cook their own food but not on a regular basis. There is a dining room where everybody usually sits and chats around. They can also sit in the open and relax. The food is home cooked. It is delicious and hygienic. The school takes great care that the food served is without “Masalas”. In any case there are very few who don’t enjoy Indian food! Students can sit in the garden in the evenings and do complete their English or Hindi Lessons.
Surrounding Area
Dehradun is surrounded by forests. There are many national parks where you will find an abundance of wild life. There is Rajaji National park, Chilla and other areas where you can spend hours in union with nature. The climate of Dehradun is mild. It is neither to hot nor to cold. Just perfect.
Facilities
The school facilities include a llibrary for self study, a 15 computer online lab for surfing the net, head phones and CD players to practice listening and authentic TOEFL and IELTS test papers for practice.
