- Parents must complete an application package that includes academic and residency documentation. When all documents have been submitted to the school, the student applicant and parents or guardians may be invited to an interview to discuss the child’s placement.
- Delia School of Canada strictly adheres to the guidelines of the year of birth-grade placement policy as outlined by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Age-appropriate grade level placement is strictly enforced.
- Students who are in need of English instruction are supported by our English as a Second Language Program. These programs are optional and they will be recommended if the student does not have the necessary English proficiency to complete the course requirements of the grade level.

To support and enhance student learning, technology is integrated in the curriculum with the use of tools like LCD projection system, smartboards, ipads and a multi-media room and studio. 1-to-1 laptop ownership program is implemented in Grades 4-12. Two ICT Specialist teachers supports the integration of technology in the classroom. In addition subscriptions to online web-based resources, software and elibrary provides opportunities for students of all grades for e-learning within and outside the classroom.
Activity
Extracurricular activities are an important part of
school life at Delia School of Canada. Students
have the opportunity to join clubs and teams
throughout the school year. A variety of clubs
and teams are offered. These are supervised by
members of the teaching staff and provide
students with an opportunity to learn a new
activity, make new friends, develop social and
leadership skills while building a strong sense of
community and school spirit.
As a member of the International School Sports
Federation of Hong Kong (ISSFHK) and the
Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation (HKSSF),
Delia School of Canada has over 40 teams
competing regionally in 12 different sports.
