Today, foreign students represent 15 different countries in the Collegium Johanneum Schloss Loburg. If the applicant has a basic, initial level of German, he is offered an effective one-year language course (30 hours weekly). In one class there are from 25 to 33 children. The Schloss Loburg boarding school in Ostbevern near Münster is an international boarding school with an attached high school. Founded in 1948 in neighboring Wadersloh, the institution has been based on the grounds of Loburg Castle since 1951.
The main goal of this school is the comprehensive development of a full and multifaceted personality, the ability to occupy responsible and high positions, work efficiently and with full dedication. For admission to the Collegium Johanneum Schloss Loburg, you should take care in advance of obtaining a student visa and collecting the necessary documents (at least one month in advance). It will be necessary to provide a report card with grades from the previous place of study (the average score is not lower than the average), and also to demonstrate a sufficiently high level of the German language (from B2). If the level of the German language or academic knowledge is insufficient, the child is encouraged to take an effective preparatory course at the Humboldt Institutions (Lindenberg or Bad Schussenried). In just 6 months you can raise the language level practically from scratch to the required B2 thanks to qualified teachers, balanced curriculums and full immersion in the language and cultural environment of Germany.

The Collegium Johanneum Schloss Loburg pupils are offered cozy 1-2-bed rooms, on a full board basis. High school students usually occupy personal, single bedrooms.

The Collegium Johanneum Schloss Loburg school is located between Munster and Osnabrück (Westphalia region), in the town of Ostbevern, in the ancient castle of Loberg. The building of the castle is perfectly preserved: its majestic view immerses the students in the atmosphere of antiquity, contributes to attentive and thoughtful studying, creates a comfortable academic atmosphere.
