The educational institution opened its doors in 1945 as a private Christian school, and today Christian-von-Bomhard Schule is very popular among German and foreign students. It was founded in the 16th century: the local clergy established a Protestant gymnasium, which educates children according to the principles of the Evangelical doctrine and sciences. The school is deservedly proud of its rich history, carefully preserves the traditions and principles of education. Religious bias persists to this day: the compulsory school curriculum for all classes includes religious studies, on Sundays all students attend mass without exception. The so-called difficult teenagers can also be trained here: specialists and pedagogues of Christian-von-Bomhard Schule have sufficient experience of working with similar students, they are able to find an approach to them and to motivate them for academic achievements. Students have the opportunity to visit a psychologist, take additional individual lessons in language or academic disciplines.
