- Excellence in teaching German language courses since 1986. - our cultural leisure time programme
HORIZONTE Regensburg: Deutschkurse, German CoursesAbout the
Our German language school HORIZONTE was founded in 1986 and has quickly earned a good international reputation through its high standard of teaching German and its personal, friendly and unbureaucratic working ethos.
The main goals at our German language school are:
– the development of communication skills in spoken and written present-day German
– an introduction to the contemporary social, political and cultural situation in Germany
Location: Our language school is on the 4th floor (there is a lift, too) of an office building (see the red spot in the foto at the right) in the medieval city centre of Regensburg, 1 km from the railway station. We have eight permanent bright fully equipped classrooms (and more in peak season) with picturesque views over the city and to the cathedral.
Location of Horizonte
You can have coffee and use computers at any time and you have, of course, free Wifi in the classrooms and in your room, should you decide to book a room in the adjacent residence (self-caterers only).
Very close to the school there are many bars, cafés, bakeries where you can have breakfast and lunch and get all kinds of food.
20 lessons (45 minutes each) per week in the morning from Monday to Friday, 9:00-12:30 (break 10:30-11:00).
Max. group size: 12 students*.
The main goal of our Standard German language course is to train your communication skills in German. We will give you a lot of opportunities to speak in class. There will be exercises to improve your listening comprehension skills and you will get a sound knowledge of the German grammar.
We offer our Standard German course throughout the year at all levels.
Please note: Courses for absolute beginners start every 4 weeks only.
You may book the standard course for one week only, but we recommend a minimum duration of at least 2 weeks.
There are special offers for long term standard courses from September to June. Have a look.
