The Lietz boarding school Schloss Bieberstein near Fulda in Hesse is a high school with an introductory phase, alternatively E-International, qualification phase and state-recognized Abitur (grades 10 - 13). The focus is on economics, e-learning and sports. The international E-Phase E-International is unique in Germany, in which the students spend the first half of the school year traveling around the world accompanied by a coach, including: in Nepal and South Africa. Thanks to the unique combination of the various projects with lessons via e-learning, the students do not miss any school time during the 6-month stay abroad and can continue their path to the Abitur at the end of the E-International.

At the Lietz Schloss Bieberstein boarding school, a one-off admission fee of €520 and, depending on the method of payment, one to two monthly deposits are due at the beginning of the school year. The school and boarding school fee amounts to €42,720 as an annual educational contribution, which can also be paid in 12 monthly installments of €3,560 by direct debit.

Idyllically located in the Hessian Rhön Nature Park, in the middle of Germany, our upper secondary school is located at Bieberstein Castle, a climatic health resort in the large municipality of Hofbieber in the Fulda district, East Hesse. The attractiveness of the landscape and its surroundings, including the biosphere reserve and the impressive Fulda Star Park, make this location an ideal recreational area for students. Here you can enjoy peace, good air and have the opportunity to experience the natural beauty up close. Our upper secondary school therefore offers an inspiring learning environment in the middle of a picturesque natural backdrop.
Facilities
In order to motivate you to spend your free time in sports and to get you out of your reserve, our sports hall is open every day until 10.30 p.m. and is freely accessible outside of class and guild times. This includes the sports hall itself, the climbing hall, the bouldering room and the weight room, where a lot of sweat flowed. In addition to the sports teachers, there are trainers for tennis, horse riding, martial arts and climbing. In and outside the guilds. Activity
Every boarding school family goes on a family trip at the beginning of the school year . The focus is on community spirit and team building. The trip week, which takes place every two years , offers the opportunity to deepen your interests in a targeted manner, for example at a beach volleyball camp in Turkey, a trek through Sardinia or a culture week in Dresden and Leibzig. Lietz excursions take place during the holidays, are organized jointly by students and teachers and are also open to former students. On a voluntary basis, students can take part in exchanges with our international partner schools in Turkey (Doğan schools in Istanbul, among others) and in China (Taizhou).
