136 Goethe-Instituts and 11 liaison offices in 93 countries, 750 cooperative

There are 185.000 language students per year learning German at one of the
Goethe-Instituts worldwide. Each year approximately 32,000 course participants

Students will also get to know Germany and its people in their everyday lives as they live, work and enjoy themselves.

This results in tight integration of the classroom lessons, self-study activities and practice. At all levels students also have the option of taking one of our examinations which are recognized around the world.

Accommodation
Students can live in single rooms in student housing. This has five single rooms per unit with pantry kitchen and is furnished. Bed linen and towels and Internet is provided. Students will share bathroom and there is one common room with TV per floor. Students also can choose to live in a one-room apartment in the institute's guesthouse. It is also furnished and bed linen and towels are provided. Students will have a separate pantry kitchen and a separate bathroom. It is located near the institute.
Surrounding Area
The Goethe-Institut Mannheim-Heidelberg and its guesthouses are situated in the leafy neighborhood of Neckarau near the Rhine. The main train station and the shopping area in the city center are just 10 minutes away.
Facilities
Students have access to 13 well-equipped classrooms, media resource center, WLAN, cafeteria, common rooms and music room with piano.
Activity
All students can participate in day trips and
weekend excursions, city walking tour and guided tours, visit to
museums and exhibitions, theater performances, concerts and
opera, company and university tours, film nights at the
institute, sports programs, parties, social encounters and pub nights.
