-Alster

The Inner and Outer Alster is a huge two-part lake in the middle of downtown Hamburg. While dozens of swan families drift through the Alster in spring and summer, we too are drawn to the water here after the German course. The maritime offer is large: In addition to a relaxed barge trip, you can go sailing, paddling or pedal boating. If that's too wet for you, you can also go shopping at the nearby Jungfernstieg: for example a new German dictionary.

-Old Elbe tunnel

Hamburg has a lot to offer, above and below. That's why we get to the bottom of things when it comes to German lessons in Hamburg after we've done our work. The old Elbe tunnel connects the district of St. Pauli with the Steinwerder shipyard island and is one of the most important architectural monuments in the city. If you want to cross the Elbe quickly, you can make your way through the 426 m long dimmed tunnel tubes. 

-High flyer captive balloon

Sometimes it takes a change of perspective to see clearly again. This also applies to learning German. That's why we leave the language school and set off for the "Highflyer captive balloon". The 23 m diameter helium balloon has space for 30 people and offers a unique panoramic view from a height of 150 m. The highlight: In the summer, the illuminated balloon even lifts off into the Hamburg night sky until midnight.

Hamburg is undoubtedly buzzing with activity. From cinemas, shopping malls and party entertainment areas to various places like bars, restaurants and cafes to protect from the cold. Specifically, there are coffee shops that offer a wide range of coffees, among other things. Without a doubt, it is the perfect destination for anyone who likes to upload pastries, coffee or photos on Instagram with “sweet” dishes. Personally, I recommend Hunt Coffee Roasters. Not only because of its coffee, but also because of its variety of delicious cakes. There is so much in this city about art and culture. You'll find concerts, art shows, exhibitions, theater etc. The migrants from different countries contribute towards this sector. One can easily practice German language by watching a theater play in German language. This is one of the best ways to imbibe and learn the language faster.
