Apartment The simply furnished single and double rooms offer a place to relax in after a long and eventful day, while the shared kitchen provides somewhere to socialize with your flatmates. The bathroom is also shared with other language students or French individuals. Home stay Our host families in Paris are cosmopolitan people who are interested in the culture and thoughts of their guests. Staying with a host family can provide the opportunity for productive conversation outside your French lessons. Your satisfaction is of particular importance to Sprachcaffe, and we therefore use the following criteria when selecting our host families: Shortest possible distance between the school and the host family’s home Standards and level of comfort should conform to standards typical of the country The availability of the family plays a large role Single rooms with half board or breakfast can be booked. Double rooms can usually be booked with breakfast, and half-board is available on request.
Surrounding Area
The school is located in a quiet street in the southeastern part of the 9th Arrondissement, the “Arrondissement de l’Opera”. The Boulevard Hausmann is situated nearby, with its many restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques. The Paris Opera, the Stock Exchange and many other culturally, historically and architecturally interesting buildings are located near our French school. The Metro station nearest the school is Grands Boulevards. Other attractions such as the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe or Notre Dame can be reached quickly with public transport.

Activity
There are many different things to do in Paris. Firstly, make sure you go on a tour of the city. You could visit the Arc de Triomphe, stroll through the Champs-Elysée and visit its various shops, or enjoy the sun outside a cozy café.
Getting to school from the airport
From Charles de Gaulle Airport
Charles de Gaulle Airport is located in the North-West of the capital of France, and it is only 23km away from Paris. It is well connected to the city by train and bus.
Train: Rossy RER departs at terminal 1 & 2.(At each terminal are shuttle buses stopping as RER. You also can go to “Gare du Nord”, “Châtelet” stations by metro or "St. Michel" station heading toward the center of Paris.
Bus: "Roissybus" is directly connected to Opera House at the center of the city from terminal 2. It takes about 50 minutes. Bus runs every 15 minutes from 6am to 7pm every day and runs every 20 minutes from 7pm to 11pm You can by bus tickets on a bus or with a ticket machine or at the RATP counter.
Taxi: It costs around 60 Euros taking a taxi. (It depends on time.)
From Orly Airport
Orly airport is only 14 km away from the center of the city, and you can come to the school by train or bus.
Train: Come to Antony statin by shuttle bus and get on RER B. Orly airport shuttle train (Orlyval) runs every day from 6am to 11pm, and it takes about 40 minutes. You can buy tickets at Orlyval agency in the terminal.
