Establishment 1965 year, LSI has many language schools across the world. You can learn English in one of our schools in England, Canada, the USA, Malta, New Zealand or Australia. We also have language centres in France and Switzerland. LSI also works with partner language schools in Spain, Italy, Russia, Mexico, Latvia, Panama and Costa Rica.All are well located, in the centre of attractive cities, close to transport links, and amenities.The language centres are fully equipped with up-to-date materials and resources in comfortable surroundings. LSI Paris is located in the historic heart of the city, close to the Louvre, the Opera and the mecca of luxury shopping, the St-Honore district. Shops, cafes and several Metro stations are nearby. Our language school is on the second floor of a beautiful eighteenth century building, providing a peaceful environment in which to study French. We run a variety of French language programmes, including DELF and TEF (Test d'Evaluation du Français) exam preparation courses. Our LSI french language school is registered as a private institute of higher Education ( Academy of Paris).
Curriculum: This 20 lesson per week program follows the same morning schedule as the ISY 30 and Intensive 30. As a mornings-only course, this is perfect for students who need integrated skill without afternoon classes. The four skills areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing are covered, as are grammatical structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation. This course offer beginner to advanced levels and 50 minutes, and14 Students maximum per class If you want to combine your language studies with other activities, the Standard 20 Course is the ideal programme for you. During the lessons you will learncommunication skills in a variety of everyday situations. The lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and skills practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing. We use a wide variety of materials and exercises including role‐plays, authentic recorded material, newspapers and magazines. This course is offered in the mornings at all LSI centres. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 Course study the same lessons as described for Standard 20 in the morning. The afternoon classes further intensify the tuition and consolidate what you have learnt, through fluency practice and a comprehensive review of the culture and customs of your host country. For those studying French who work in, or are planning a career in business, we offer the LSI Modular French for Business Course, which can be incorporated into your Intensive. This course offer beginner to advanced levels and 50 minutes, and14 Students maximum per classIf you want to combine your language studies with other activities or preparation courses as part of this course, 30 Course as an afternoon option is the ideal programme for you.
