The town centre is full of shops, cafes, restaurants, high street stores and a wide range of leisure and sporting activities, yet it is a place where people have time to talk and it is easy to feel at home here and make new friends. Worthing is also very close to Chichester, which is famous for its Roman walls and cathedral. Arundel is well known for its amazing castle dating back to the 11th Century and of course its cathedral. All along the south coast there are many beautiful and famous places to visit, all within an hour of Worthing town itself.
