Language Studies International has worked with many international students, majority of which come from Asia. Many students are from Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Other students come from Latin American and Europe as well.
Conditional Admission
LSI's academic team provides students assistance when going through the application process for transfers. The staff will check language requirements and required documents with the students in order for them to be well prepared. Furthermore, school counselors will come up with a study plan for individual students and monitor each student's progress in order to meet different universities' needs. In the past, students at LSI schools have been granted conditional admission from their chosen university or college. Many of these schools are LSI's partner schools in the States or Canada who are ensured that students who have completed LSI programs have attained competent English skills. LSI's University Preparation Programme is specifically designed to guide students along their application process and increase their acceptance rate.

Since its establishment in 1965, Language Studies International has been providing international students with a place to exchange culture and learn new language. Believing that true linguistic enhancement comes when students are wholly immersed in the culture and language, LSI aims to provide the best accommodation suitable for English learning as well as an appropriate academic environment. LSI also understands that international students have different motives and reasons for their pursuit of new language and thus provides courses for all academic, professional and personal aims. With extensively trained instructors and professional academic counselors who have abundant experiences with foreign students, LSI constantly reviews the latest trend and methodology in the field. Accredited by AAIEP, LSI boasts an international atmosphere, learner-centered classes, quality homestay programs, certified teachers, dynamic class lessons and a certificate as a proof of students' language competence. LSI offers several challenging courses that promise students with significantly noticeable growth in their English skills. Courses provide the same lessons in different levels in order to meet each student's needs. As courses divided into 6 levels, ranging from beginner to advanced, students will be placed in the most suitable level and thus be provided with instructions and lessons apt for their English proficiency. LSI does not settle with its current establishment. Rather, the institution continuously takes part in international research and seminars in order to provide students with the most effective method and environment to learn English in.

applied in order to enrich students' learning

offered in six different levels. Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate,

LSI offers is its unique homestay program. With experienced, welcoming host families, students will find the greatest opportunity to enhance their English skills and experience the local culture. All students will be given a single room but students will choose between the bed and half-board option. Minimum age for homestay program is 16. The other option is off-campus housing for students who prefer more independence and privacy. Bedford Square is located in the city center, 20 minutes away from LSI on foot. It has single and double rooms as well as 1 triple room. Meals are self-catered and the bathroom is shared by 4-5 people. Students must be at least 18 years old and the option is only available during July and August. The other option is Langford's Hotel which is located 5 minutes from LSI center. It offers single and double rooms with private bathrooms in all ensuites. Breakfast is included in the option with access to the hotel restaurant and bar.
Surrounding Area
The school is located right in the heart of Brighton, a city placed on the south coast of England. Brighton is the elegant seaside resort city in England and known as a popular tourist destination with numerous hotels, restaurants and entertainment facilities. Students can reach Brighton Pier and the famous Royal Pavilion--home of king George IV as the school is located in a beautiful Georgian building close to the seafront. A convenient shopping area with a great variety of entertainment is only 5 minutes walk away.

Activity
Student social programs include parties, barbecues, quiz and game nights, nightclubs and discos, day and weekend trips to London and other major cities in England.

학교 위치 학교가 6월에 이전하여, 주택가 쪽이어서 조용합니다. 주변에 카페와 식료품점, 작은아시안마특가 있어 점심 먹기에도 용이했습니다. 해변은 도보 10이내로 갈수 있고,브라이튼 시내는 바로 학원 앞 정류장에서 버스를 타고 15분정도면 도착합니다. LSI에서 공부 중 느낀 점과 수업에 대한 평가)
한국에 있을 때 그렇게 영어 공부해라! 중요하다! 했을 때는 정말 하기 싫었는데, LSI에서 비슷한 실력의 친구들과 같이 얘기하고 생활하면서 배워서 더 빨리 늘었다 느낍니다. 10주마다 수업교재와 선생님들도 바뀌어서 더 다양한 수업방식과 내용으로 여러가지 배울 수가 있었습니다.
한국 학생 설문 조사 LSI 선생님과 직원에 대한 만족도 저는 특별히 직원들과 부딪칠 일이 없었지만, 대체적으로 직원들이 친정하셔서 요청에 잘 응해 주셨습니다. 그리고 선생님들은 각각 다른 스타일로 티칭해주시는데, 개인마다 선호도가 다르지만 대부분 수업에서 재미있고 유익하게 공부 할 수 있었습니다.
지내고 있는 도시에 대한 만족도 제 선택에 후회 없습니다! 여름 (5-8월)이 제일 바쁘고 정신 없었지만, 브라이튼의 매력을 가장 장 느낄 수 있는 계절인 것 같아요. 브라이튼 해변, 끝내주는 날씨, 세븐시스터즈 절벽, 브라이튼 프레이드 등, 볼거리, 즐길거리가 많았습니다. 여름이 끝나고가을, 겨울, 봄에도 이스터 데이, 할로윈 데이, 크리스마스 등 도시내에서 재미있는행사들이 많지만요! 그 밖에 LSI에서 공부하면서 느낀 점과 공유하고 싶은 팁 바다를 매일 볼 수 있고, 영국 악센트와 멋진 브리티쉬 펍들이 가장 인상깊은 브라이튼! 개트윅 공항도 기차로 30분이면 갈수 있어서 다른 유럽 나라 여행에도 아주 편리했습니다. 영어 공부는 본인이 얼마나 노력하느냐에 따라 결과가 나오는 것 같아요. 저 같은 경우는 한국인 친구들과 시간 보내는 것을 지양하고, 다른 나라 친구들과 시간을 많이보냈는데 그 덕에 많은 발전이 있었던 것 같습니다!!LSI는 영국에 런던, 캠브리지, 브라이튼 이렇게 세 도시에 있으니 한 두달씩 각각 다른 도시에서 공부해 보시는 것도 좋을 것 같아요!
