Since 1969, Hansa has been one of the largest learning centers in Canada, and to prove it, Hansa will provide perfect help and advice for students in need. Hansa Language Centre, one of the largest language schools in Canada, offers not only a wide variety of classes, but also a long list of extracurricular activities and individually planned academic schedules. There are more than 300 classes on site every day taught by over 70 qualified instructors. One of the most unique features of Hansa is that it helps students who are willing to study at universities, colleges, or other professional schools. In addition, students who have completed Hansa’s program have opportunities to receive scholarships and would be placed in colleges without any extra charge. Activities may include: salsa dancing classes, trips to Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, Algonquin National Park, Montreal, and New York City.

Accommodation
Students who attend Hansa will have two housing options. One is school provided homestay experience, and the other is individually arranged residential places. Homestay option is perfect for students who want to experience culture, and practice English outside of classroom as well. Students will be welcomed as a member of a family and practice daily conversational English. Hotels, independently-operated residences and apartments are also available near the campus and throughout the surrounding area. Students are encouraged to arrange their housing options as early as possible due to the limited living spaces.

Hansa is located in Toronto, Canada, the
largest city in Canada and the fifth largest city in North America. Toronto is
well-known to be one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, and
over 100 languages and dialects are spoken in Toronto. There are beautiful
neighborhoods, all very different, and multiple shopping areas including fruit
markets, Keningston Market, and Chinatown. There are always multiple music
shows going around, and the Art Gallery of Ontario, and other various art galleries
will attract students every weekend. Students can also travel during weekends
to NYC, Boston, Chicago, and more.

Activity
Hansa offers more than plenty opportunities for
students to fully expose themselves to English-speaking culture. Some of the
examples they will be able to enjoy include Thousand Islands & White Water
rafting, Montreal trip, Niagara Falls, Casino tours, NYC excursion, maple syrup
festival, paramount Canada’s wonderland, and many more.
Getting to school from the airport
Hansa can send a friendly driver to meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. The driver will meet you at the arrival gate after you have cleared customs and picked up your luggage; he will be holding a Hansa sign with your name on it. There is a charge of $100 for the reception at the airport and the transfer to the family home. A return transfer from the family home to the airport can be arranged for an additional $75.Well-travelled students with a good knowledge of English may prefer to take an airport taxi or bus from the airport to their accommodation. Taxis will generally cost between $40 and $70. A single adult fare on Toronto's public transit system (TTC) costs $3.00. The TTC is not recommended for people travelling with a great deal of luggage, especially during rush-hour periods.
