The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program helps students improve their English language skills to succeed at university. With 20 per week of classes, with lessons targeted at improving student reading, vocabulary, writing, grammar, listening and speaking skills, the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) prepares students to:

- read academic textbooks and peer-reviewed articles;

- understand academic lectures and take notes;

- anddeliver academic presentations based on research.

The Bachelor of Business Administration is a four-year degree program that builds a strong foundation in business knowledge. Students will can either continue throughout the program with the general business degree – or develop in-depth expertise in one's chosen area. Capilano University's School of Business balances classroom learning with hands-on experience. Instructors bring up-to-date knowledge to the classroom, sharing the expertise that's made them successful. Small class sizes mean instructors have more time for students.

In third year students may choose a concentration: Accounting, Financial Planning, Human Resources Management, International Business and Logistics, or Marketing.

For conditional admission, instead of submitting language proficiency test scores, applicant may complete English courses prior to the academicprogram. The length of the English course is determined based on the applicant's level of English proficiency.
