Located in the heart of one of Canada's most vibrant cities, Global Village Calgary is known for its great staff, the international community of its student body, and its stunning English school. Students thrive in GV Calgary’s international community where they learn and make new friends. The English school is famous for its outstanding academic quality, enthusiastic teachers, and for inspiring students to be global citizens. GV Calgary offers a wide choice of English courses, including exam preparation and teacher training. We offer English classes in General ESL at eight levels, and English courses in Business English, TESOL, and Cambridge First Certificate. As Calgary’s first IELTS Test Centre, we also have full-time as well as evening classes in IELTS preparation. GV Calgary has the only Cambridge CELTA TESL training course in the Prairie provinces of Canada.

Accommodation

GV’s in-house accommodation departments ensure timely, effective service. GV Homestay provides a safe, friendly and secure environment for students, while giving them the opportunity to experience and enjoy the local culture. GV Accommodation provides homestay full-board for adults and teens, as well as roomstay (self-catering) and executive for adults. Non-homestay services such as seasonal student residences, hostels and guest suites are also offered. All requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and are designed to meet each individual student’s needs.
