Regina Christian SchoolAbout the
Regina Christian School is an accredited, independent school with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. We are also an associate school of the Regina Public School Board and maintain membership with the Association of Christian Schools International.
We offer quality education for preschool, elementary and high school students, including an Advanced Placement option for high school. Before and after school care is available for children in kindergarten to grade 6.
RCS welcomes students from abroad through our International Studies program. We have the opportunity to celebrate the diversity in other cultures and within the Christian community. It is our pray that international students will be enriched by their experience here in Canada, while attending Regina Christian School.
RCS offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities for both elementary and high school students. We provide many extra-curricular activities to round out a students school experience including athletics, music, arts, technology, Christian service and leadership.
Regina Christian School’s high school program offers quality education in all pre-requisite courses for University, Bible College and trade school entrance requirements. At the core of our program, we ensure Saskatchewan curriculum outcomes are met within a Biblical worldview. Teachers are licensed through the Ministry of Learning and are accredited within all high school subject areas.
Regina Christian High School teachers are passionate about Christ and their subject areas. As such, they strive to ensure learning activities are meaningful and engaging. Outside of academics, our high school teachers provide positive mentorship for our student body. Regina Christian School’s high school program seeks to foster Christ centered relationships through strong academic, extra-curricular and social programming.
Benefit, Goal of this course : We believe the study of a wide range of resources that support curriculum is valuable. Through our studies across a variety of disciplines, we teach students to understand and evaluate all concepts in light of Scripture and a Biblical Worldview. We choose resources to support curricula at Regina Christian School based on the course structures provided by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and for Advanced Placement courses, the College Board as well. All resources reflect our philosophy of presenting information in light of a Biblical Worldview. Consequently, RCS students are required to read and evaluate a variety of literature and other documents - both Christian and secular - which enable us to discuss societal values and issues from a Christ-centered perspective. Our goal is to prepare students to engage potentially controversial ideas equipped with a Biblical mindset.
