Vernon has a population of 57,000, which is a small, friendly and safe area in the metropolitan area. Vernon is a fully English-speaking city and is 45 minutes away by plane from Vancouver. (4 and a half hours by car) Unlike Vancouver, where there are many Asians, it is a white-centered society with four distinct seasons and has similar weather conditions to Korea.
