At ILSC, our expert instructors and administrators share a commitment to provide you with the very highest quality learning experience. The language lab at ILSC is the classroom, the city, the people, the adventures - in short, the entire life experience you will enjoy with us. We have put together an array of language learning programs that serve a full spectrum range of personal interests, preferences and career choices. ILSC has set some goals to keep developing as one of the finest schools for language and career education where people have excellent and transformative learning and living experiences. For example, ILSC helps students to improve their language skills within the context of their needs and interests, become self-directed lifelong learners, and enjoy the process of learning with confidence and ease. ILSC also provides a warm and enjoyable learning and work environment. There are three principles in ILSC. The first Principle is that learning works very well when it is student-centred. The second one is that learning works better when it is made a part of the experiences of daily life. The last one is that people learn best when they are confident, at ease and happy. To ensure that the above three principles will best assist your learning process, your ILSC teacher functions as a modeler of language, resource person, facilitator, mentor and friend. All teachers at ILSC must possess the following qualifications; a completed Bachelors degree and a completed TESL certificate recognized by TESL Canada (or equivalent). ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. Most courses are offered at many different levels and last four weeks. ILSC has policies and procedures in place to help ensure our students have the best possible experience while at ILSC. First of all, we have an English Only Policy in the school. This means that whenever you are in the school you must speak English. If ILSC students are not speaking English in the school some rules apply, such as suspension or sending letters to agent and parents.

Location
Accommodation
ILSC's Student Accommodation Department provides a range of accommodation options to suit a student's budget and needs. Students can choose to stay in a Homestay and learn English by living with an Australian family. Most families in Sydney and Brisbane live outside the downtown core of the cities and our homestay accommodations are located between 40-60 minutes away from ILSC locations.
1. Homestay
ILSC offers safe and welcoming homestay families, many of whom have been hosting ILSC students since our school began. ILSC Half-Board Homestay includes a private bedroom with two meals a day for 1 week (14 meals a week). Most of our homestay families are located in the greater area of each city: in Sydney approximately 40 to 60 minutes by public transport from ILSC. However, commuting time will vary depending on traffic. With Half-Board Homestay, the students are responsible for providing their own lunch every day.
2. Shared Accommodation
Shared accommodation is a popular and affordable living option for international students. ILSC's shared accommodations are fully furnished units or houses equipped with internet access. Bills, such as water, electricity, and gas, are included in the fees. Living in shared accommodation allows students to easily manage the daily costs of living while enjoying their own private time and space. This is the ideal option for independent students.
