We commenced training in July 2008, back then we had just one course to offer, Diploma in Community Welfare Work. Today, we offer 17 qualifications, and more than three thousand students have studied with us and have gained valuable career skills. We achieved rapid growth throughout most challenging periods educational institutions in Australia have ever experienced. This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager. The diversity of employers includes restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. This qualification allows for multiskilling and for specialization in accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage and gaming.

Australian Homestay Network
Australian Institute of Technology (ANGAD) has contracted with the Australian Homestay Network (AHN) for both Homestay and ‘HomeShare’ welcoming and temporary accommodation for new international students. Initial placement is recommended for 4 weeks with the option to extend your stay after the initial period. AHN has been contracted to ANGAD as they meet standards that have been set to ensure that you have the best possible experience in your homestay environment.

Modern Classrooms In sync with modern times, the Institute has spacious air-conditioned classrooms with natural light and views of the city. There are overhead data projectors installed for classroom presentations.
