Conditional Admission
LSI's academic team provides students assistance when going through the application process for transfers. The staff will check language requirements and required documents with the students in order for them to be well prepared. Furthermore, school counselors will come up with a study plan for individual students and monitor each student's progress in order to meet different universities' needs. In the past, students at LSI schools have been granted conditional admission from their chosen university or college. Many of these schools are LSI's partner schools in the States or Canada who are ensured that students who have completed LSI programs have attained competent English skills. LSI's University Preparation Programme is specifically designed to guide students along their application process and increase their acceptance rate.

LSI offers is its unique homestay program. With experienced, welcoming host families, students will find the greatest opportunity to enhance their English skills and experience the local culture. All students will be given a single room but students will choose between the bed and breakfast option and half-board option. Minimum age for homestay program is 16. The other option is off-campus housing for students who prefer more independence and privacy. 500 West Hotel is located in City center, 15-minute walk away from the LSI center. Single rooms with TV, desk, refrigerator and platform beds are provided. The Newport Place Apartment Flats are located downtown near Gaslamp district. Some complexes come with 4 bedrooms while others come with 2 bedrooms, both types with shared bathroom, common area and kitchen. West Park/America's Best Value Inn is located in city center, only 2 minute walk from the LSI center. Rooms are either single or double with air conditioning, TV, beds, desks and kitchen. The option comes with private bathrooms. Comfort Inn-Gaslamp is located 15 minutes away from LSI center. Continental breakfast meals are included in the price with single/double bedrooms and private bathrooms.

Located in the modern building in the heart of downtown city, LSI San Diego center boasts easy access to surrounding amenities such as the Gaslamp District, San Diego zoo, Balboa Park and the San Diego Bay.Also referred to as "America's Finest City," San Diego is located on a beautiful natural harbour along the Pacific coastline, between Los Angels and Mexico.
