Residential Apartments
University Student Housing offers 192 fully furnished apartments in Phase I and II. Each apartment has a large living room and dining area as well as a private bathroom with shower. Kitchens include all major appliances. Each bedroom is equipped with two beds, closets and desks.
The Phase I complex consists of 92, 2-bedroom apartments. A centrally located community center houses the Residence Life Office, a game room, academic center, and laundry facilities. The Residence Life Office coordinates the many programs and resources which enhance the unique experience of university community living.
The Phase II complex consists of five buildings (pods). Each pod includes eight, 2-bedroom apartments and 12, 4-bedroom apartments. Every pod has its own laundry facility for resident use. The Housing Administration office and Community Information Desk are located in the Phase II Community Center. A Meeting Room and Lounge provide the setting for a variety of our events and activities as well as a place for you to relax.

집중영어프로그램 (주24시간) (Intensive English Courses (24hrs/w)) 1주에 24시간 듣는 수업이었어요.
많지도 적지도 않은 수업 시간이라서 더 좋았던거 같아요. 공부도 좋지만 친구들을 사귀면서 영어를 배우는게 더 좋다고 생각하여서 저는 주거 아파트를 선택 하였구요 개인이 생활할 수 있는 거실하고 화장실 그리고 샤워시설도 갖춰져 있는 아파트였어요.
사진으로 많이 봐서 좋을 거라고 생각했지만 생각보다 개인적인 공간이 많아서 좋았어요. 엘리베이터로 올라가고 각 층마다 나눠져 있습니다.
Phase I 이라는 아파트에 묵어서 침대 3개 룸메 두명 같이 묵었구요. 원하면 1인실 저처럼 3인실이 선택이 가능하다고 알고 있습니다.
그 룸메가 저랑 잘 맞아서 이야기도 많이 하고 밖에 더 나가게 되고 야외 활동도 같이 많이 했어요.
처음 그 친구를 사귀고 그리고 자연스레 클래스 친구들과도 친해 질 수 있는 계기가 되었어요.
처음에는 영어가 어려워서 의사소통에 어려움이 많았지만 룸메이트가 있어서 영어가 더 잘 늘 수 있는 계기가 아니었나 싶습니다.
일단은 학교시설을 좋은 점을 말하자면 컴퓨터실, 헬스센터, 도서관, 학생회, 레크리에이션 센터, 식당 정도 라고 생각해요.
컴퓨터 사용하고 싶을 시 컴퓨터실 이용하고, 그리고 많이 먹었다보니 헬스 시설도 종종 이용했어요. 물론 무료구요!
시험기간이나 공부를 좀 해야 싶을때는 도서실 가서 공부를 해서 테스트 전에 공부했구요. 학생회나 그리고 식당등이 매우 깔끔하고 좋았습니다.
공립 종합 대학이라는 장점과 로스엔젤레스 도심 한가운데서 매우 가깝고 박사, 석사 특수 교육과등 교육인증 제도가 있어서
저는 미래에 박사 과정을 밟는다면 다시 캘리포니아 주립대학교, LA 로 다시 진학할 생각입니다.
