California Lutheran University(CLU) is a private university located in Thousand Oaks, a small southern California city. It was founded in 1959 by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, but is nonsectarian by offering interfaith resources. The institution houses 356 faculty members, 2,500 undergraduates and about 1,400 graduate students. California Lutheran University has four academic divisions; the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Management, the Graduate School of Education, and the Adult Evening program. Across all divisions, class sizes are kept small; 16 students on average. CLU offers undergraduates either a Bachelor of Arts and Science depending on their field of study, in 36 academic majors and 31 minors, with the ability to double-major. There are 30 graduate programs offering credentials and certifications to doctorate degrees.

Description: 2013 Temporary Summer Meal Adjustments ONLY applicable to Sessions 6, 7, 8 and 9: • Students living on campus will receive a
calendar listing the dates and times on- campus dining will be available. Dining options include the Cafeteria and Centrum Cafe. On select weekends that both may be closed, students will be able to eat at restaurants walking distance from campus.
• During these sessions, students living on campus will not receive a meal plan and the housing price will be discounted. Students will be able to individually add money to their CLU ID Cards to use at any of the dining
options on campus. The amount added will be at the student's discretion and will allow the student discounted meals. Private houses only 2 minutes from the ELS center. Each house has four bedrooms; students will be placed in double or triple accommodation depending on availability. Each house has three bathrooms, a shared living room, kitchen, laundry access, built-in
book shelves, plenty of storage and a back yard. Each student has a bed, desk, dresser, closet, and high speed internet access. Linens are included at no extra cost.
