About the Point Park University
Point Park University is a liberal arts university in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Formerly known as Point Park College, the school name was revised in 2004 to reflect the number of graduate programs being offered. Point Park University is a comprehensive master's level university with a strong liberal arts tradition, and is located in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. Students practice conversation and other speaking skills using practical, real-world English. Students learn to write with accuracy and effectiveness, develop strategic listening skills and improve your use of grammar.
Students work on his individual language skills and objectives through technology-supported learning in our modern Language Technology Centers.

2013 Temporary Summer Meal Adjustments• The Point Cafe (with a more limitedselection) will be open throughout the summer: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm; Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm; Sunday 11:00am- 2:00pm-Brunch. The Main Cafeteria summer hours of operation are as follows: • May 6th - June 16th Closed • June 17th - July 26th Open • July 29th - August 21st Closed• August 22nd Open Coed dorms with males & females on same floor. American & ELS students are on thesame floors. Shared double occupancy dorm rooms in urban university-owned dormitory with Private bathrooms. Rooms include abed, wardrobe, desk and chair. Linens are also included. Students clean their own rooms during their stay. Self-service laundry machines are available in the dorm buildingfor a small fee. Security: 24-hour security desk located at the building entrance. There is one resident assistant for every 30 students.
