Students have a single room located in a 4-person or 8-person suite that they share with American students. Students also have the option of living off campus on private rooms or apartments, or in local hotels. The Office for International Student Services will assist in this. Limited on-campus housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis for students older than 25.
Surrounding Area
Burlington, the city in which Saint Michael's campus is located, is an attractive college village that embodies Vermont's most artistic and cultural aspect. Burlington is also recognized as Vermont's largest city with Saint Michael and three other major universities and thus it offers an ideal environment for students to be educated in. The city's remarkable nature like Lake Champlain, Green Mountains and the Adirondack Mountains is what enables its residents to actively enjoy skiing, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and camping. Recently, Burlington was selected as the second happiest place to live in America by Self Magazine and this fact is eagerly supported by the city's own outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate their city's proximity to Montreal, Canada, a city 2-hour drive away from Burlington, and Bost, a city 4-hour drive away from Burlington.
