Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Of course other skills such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling all play a role in effective English communication. On an Intensive English course you will have the time and opportunity to work on all of these.

Curriculum:
Average of 20 lessons of The General English Courses per week will be given to the students. The purpose of this course is for students to have more confidence in their conversational English. Extensive vocabularies the students will learn will dramatically improve their English.The General English courses start every Monday and are offered all year around. In the mornings, each student will receive lessons that are general and more comprehensive in order to help the students overall understanding of English. In the afternoons, instructions for more focused and special studies will be provided. The minimum qualifying age for this course is 16.The General English courses have different levels from Beginner to Advanced. When the students arrive at EC Boston, they will take a placement test to find a suitable level of instructions. However, this first placement will not be permanent, since at the end of every session students will be reevaluated and placed into different levels based on their improvement.Instructions given during the courses will be focused in five areas (grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening); and these courses will assist students to develop not only their general language skills but also their communication skills and conversational speech abilities. Every class will have 10 to 12 students on average and 14 at maximum. Class sizes are consciously planned to make the most ideal environment for students.

One Bedroom Apartments For a peaceful and private stay. A one bedroom apartment has a bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen/dining area. Having a separate bedroom is a good idea if you sharing with another student: you can sleep in the bedroom while he/she is watching TV in the living area.
Homestay Stay with an English-speaking Miami family. On a homestay you'll live with a local Miami family practise your English and experience life as part of the local community. This is a great way to learn about real Miami life. Homestays are safe and friendly with all host-families being carefully checked by the homestay agencies we work with. These agencies make sure you get the best family for you.
Stay in a private room or share with another student. Twin rooms are only available for two students booking together.
Studio Apartment Self-Catering apartments in great locations. A studio apartment is a big room that has a bed, kitchen and living area in it. Your apartment will have a sleeping area, living area and a kitchen area all in one large space. The only other room with a door in a studio apartment is the bathroom. Studio apartments are good for people who are not bringing many things with them on their trip. They are also good for people who want quiet time.

Our school is located in the heart of South Beach on the world-famous Lincoln Road. We are a short walk from the beach, straight down Lincoln Road past lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The famous Art Deco hotels on Ocean Drive are very near, as well as the high-end shops and boutiques on Collins Avenue. When the sun goes down the action continues in some of the world's best nightclubs and bars. We are in the middle of everything you imagine when you think "South Beach"! It's the place to see and be seen!

It was very
pleasing learning experience! There are many EC language institutions, but I
chose the one in Miami because of the good location. I really loved the fact
that the school was near the beach. Restaurants and bars around school were
really good too. Not only were the entertainments around the school, but also
education in school brilliant too. My favorite was small sized group
activities, because I was able to ask questions right away. If the class size
was big, I would feel uncomfortable to do so. It was only 3 months, but because
it was a small class, I was able to improve on my listening and speaking
skills.

to be near beach with excellent tutors around me to teach me English. Thank you

EC 어학원 - 마이애미에서 3 개월간 배워 왔습니다 ~정말 만족합니다 ! ! !EC 어학원은 많은 분교 가 있지만, 제가 마이애미를 선택한 이유는 위치입니다.저는 바다를 아주 좋아해서 마이애미 비치 까지 걸어 갈 수 있을 정도로 가까운 데에 학교가 있다는 것은 저에게 딱 맞았습니다.레스토랑과 바도 근처에 있고 정말로 즐길 수 있었습니다. 노는 것뿐만 아니라 물론 수업도 매우 좋았습니다.저에게 가장 좋았던 것은 소그룹 클래스입니다.학생 이 많으면 질문 하기 어려울 수도 있지만 내 수업은 11 명으로 돼 있어서 아주 좋았습니다..3개월만이었지만 소 그룹 클래스라서 듣기와 말하기 가 많이 늘었습니다.좋아하는 해변 근처에서 제대로 영어도 배우고 정말 잊지 못할 3 개월입니다.감사합니다 .
