Description:
North Campus Residential Halls are set up in the traditional dorm style and are approximately 16' X 12' with a large window. The layout provides for two students (of the same gender) per room with communal bathrooms and sinks down the hall. Each room contains two single beds, with mattresses 80" in length. The rooms are also equipped with two (2) desks, two (2) desk chairs, two (2) dressers, two (2) wardrobes, and under bed storage. Much of the furniture is moveable and students can arrange as they choose. Basic cable is available in each room and the entire building is equipped with wifi capabilities.
Each hall contains laundry facilities, study rooms, secured entry/exit 24 hours a day, front desk attendants, and resident advisors on each floor. Most halls have a shared kitchenette in the general lounge area. All dorms are within walking distance of dining facilities and the student union.
Note: Students will be housed in Schmidt Hall during the academic school year and Tyson Hall during the summer term.

West Chester University of Pennsylvania is located in the borough. Valley Forge, the Brandywine Battlefield, Marsh Creek State Park, and other historical attractions are nearby, as are Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum, and Christian C. Sanderson Museum.
