The College serves nearly 13,000 students each year in credit and non-credit programs at five educational sites and more than 20 community locations. Dandini Campus
TMCC's Dandini Campus is home to the Student Services and Administrative Divisions of the College, which include Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Testing Services, the Disability Resource Center and more. This campus location offers a variety of academic and occupational programs. In addition, the Dandini Campus houses the V. James Eardley Student Services Center, the Elizabeth Sturm Library, Academic Advising, open computer labs, the Sports and Fitness Center, the E.L. Cord Child Care Center, academic assistance from the Learning Commons and Tutoring and Learning Center and hosts special events.
William N. Pennington Health Science Center
The William N. Pennington Health Science Center is a collaborative campus of Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada, Reno. Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Public Safety programs, including Emergency Medical Services, Paramedic Programs, Fire and Wildland Fire Programs, and the BAS in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, are housed at this site.
Meadowood Center
TMCC's Meadowood Center is conveniently located across the street from Meadowood Mall and is on multiple bus routes. In addition to a wide variety of credit courses offered regularly at Meadowood Center, the Certified Nursing Assistant and Veterinary Nursing programs are located at this site. The Meadowood Center is also home to the EPIC (Educational Programs Inspiring the Community) division, which offers over 1,000 professional development and personal enrichment programs, and Adult Basic Education, which includes English as a Second Language, High School Equivalency preparation and basic literacy programming. TMCC's Career Hub, Veterans Upward Bound and a testing center are also located at this learning site.
William N. Pennington Applied Technology Center
The TMCC William N. Pennington Applied Technology Center houses TMCC's Division of Technical Sciences, and Applied Technologies Department. This location provides Career Technical Education training for high-skill jobs in advanced shops and labs in construction and design, manufacturing, and transportation technologies, including automotive, diesel, construction management, machining, fabrication, HVAC/R and welding. These programs are developed with input from local industry and directly meet the needs of the regional workforce, allowing students to train with hands-on experience for careers in these industries. In addition, the TMCC Safety Center offers customized safety training and services and the popular TMCC Motorcycle Safety Program.
