Conditional Admission
Spring prepares students well for admission to American colleges and universities. Spring's graduates have gone on to colleges and universities across the United States and in other countries.
Spring also offers individual advising from our Foreign Student Advisors, who help students select schools, arrange to take required tests such as the IELTS and the iBT TOEFL, and help with college admissions procedures.
Spring's Colorado schools have agreements with a number of colleges and universities, including "conditional admission" with some of them.
Spring International Language Center Littleton Center - ColoradoAbout the
Spring is a strong foundation in English. Accomplished instructors will help you to build a strong foundation in all the English language skills. You will study in interactive classes with teachers who have the education and training to teach English to international students. Instructors have master’s degrees in ESL, linguistics or related fields or specialized certificates in teaching English to speakers of other languages. In addition to years of teaching experience, many of instructors have studied and taught in other countries, so they are sensitive to cultural differences and understand the challenges involved in learning another language.
Among the faculty members, you will meet excellent teachers who have won awards from their professional organizations, authors of textbooks in the English-language field, and active participants in professional organizations, such as TESOL International Association, NAFSA: Association of International Educators and English USA – the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
The curriculum is designed for your success. Since 1979, the Spring International curriculum has been developed, evaluated, tested, and updated into a professional guide that assists students in learning the most English possible in the shortest period of time.
The curriculum is divided into six levels of instruction, from beginning to advanced. Each level focuses on structure (grammar), reading, writing, and listening/speaking. Skills are coordinated rather teaching each one in isolation. A state-of-the-art computer lab offers programs to enhance skills in reading, spelling, grammar, and writing. Homestay
Many students at Spring International prefer to stay with American families so that they can practice their English and learn more about American culture. Each school's Housing Coordinator maintains a file of host families in the area who are interested in hosting international students. Homestay placements are made about one month before the students' arrival. Most families are located within an easy bus ride to the school.
Students have their own room with a place to study. In addition, they have use of the family laundry and other facilities. Host families provide breakfast and dinner. Students buy their lunch at the college cafeteria or nearby restaurants.
Living with an American family gives you the chance to practice English every day and the chance to learn about American culture directly. Host families are interested in the students' own cultures and want to help you enjoy your stay in America.
