Founded by Harvard & Oxford PhDs, the Lumiere Research Scholar Program is a mentored research program for talented students. In the program, student work 1-1 with a researcher from a top university to produce an independent research project.
Focus of Study : Offers high school students the opportunity to engage in deep, personalized research across a variety of academic fields. The program is designed to mimic the experience of university-level research, involving mentorship from world-class scholars and the creation of a substantial research paper. Given its rigor and focus on independent scholarly work,students gain hands-on experience in research methodology, writing, and publication. Benefit, Goal of this course : Highly selective research competition or publication* such as The Yale Review of International Studies, The Stanford Jounral of Science, and Technology and Society, ISEF, MIT THINK.
(* No academically rigorous program can or should promise publication. We provide support for 3 rounds of submission to selective high-school or college level journals)
Curriculum : - 30 Individual sessions with mentors who are PhD fellow and post-doc
- 6-8 individual sessions with writing coach
- 4 individual sessions with publication specialist
