International Leadership of TexasAbout the
International Leadership of Texas Global (ILTexas Global) is a nonprofit organization that operates the ILTexas Private High School in partnership with the International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) charter school district to support and facilitate cross-cultural educational models and methods. The International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) Private High School provides a college preparatory education for students and prepares them for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish, and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body and character. As a public-private partnership, ILTexas Private High School fosters a community of friendship between local and international students who study the same curriculum in the same classrooms. The result is a diverse, intercultural environment in which both American and international students can learn and grow together - forming lifelong bonds and global friendship
Two-way DLI (Dual Language Immersion Spanish/English) Students receive academic letter grade in the content areas. (Reading/Language/Science/Mathematics/Society) - Students will receive a language prodiciency rating. Students study and live in an environment where they can speak both languages at 50/50 to be competitive in the global market.
Chinese Language Development Class (FLES) Elementary school students learn Chinese as a second language. ELPS is used to provide Spanish and Chinese learning information, so locally developed speaking, listening, reading and writing are subject to the Spanish Language Proficiency Standard (SLPS) and the Chinese Language Proficiency Standard (CLPS)

During the school year, all international F1 students at ILTexas have the option to live on-campus in the student apartments or to live off-campus with a host family.
Student Apartments
Students are housed in apartment-style dormitories, complete with wifi, kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms in each apartment unit. Each bedroom houses two students for a total of six students in each apartment. Kitchens are outfitted with a refrigerator and microwave, but no oven or stove for safety reasons. If students so desire, they may purchase their own counter-top burners, rice cookers, and/or electric kettles. The apartment complex is divided into boys’ and girls’ dormitory buildings. Male and female students are not allowed into apartments of the opposite sex but can convene in the Welcome Center. The Welcome Center is the main gathering area in the dorms. It is furnished with couches, big-screen TVs, a foosball table, a ping-pong table, a pool table, and board games for students to enjoy. Adjacent to the Welcome Center are the boys’ and girls’ laundry rooms. Washers and dryers are available for the students to use free of charge.
Our Director of International Students and Resident Advisors (RAs) live in the dorms and are there to assist the students with anything from schoolwork to a doctor’s visit.

Facilities
ILTexas provides first class facilities for their student-athletes. The gymnasium area located at the center of the school is approximately 13,000 square feet and contains a full, regulation size, basketball court with six adjustable goals. The court space is also marked for volleyball and is capable of having up to two standard courts set up and in use. Adjacent to the hardwood court is 35 yards of artificial turf that spans the width of the area from wall to wall. Even more, beyond the turf is a weight room equipped with free-weights, plate-weights, barbells, benches, and weight racks. Outside, behind each building, is a multipurpose field capable of training our soccer, baseball, softball, track, and cross country student-athletes.
