Course Information

  • This course provides the fastest and most effective route towards reaching your required English language level. It's specially designed to meet your individual learning needs, with five tailored study levels to ensure you gain the language fluency and academic skills you need to succeed.
    Choose to study Academic English on campus or online. You'll study the same program with the same teachers and the same guaranteed progression to university – the only differences are that online Academic English has lower tuition fees, English language entry requirements start from IELTS 3.5, and no visa is required.

    As a highly engaged and hard-working student, you can expect to make rapid progress of up to one IELTS point per term through this intensive course.
    Academic English has 20 classroom hours per week and additional structured, guided learning (e.g. online learning).
    Tailored online assessment enables your progress to be accurately monitored.

  • Exeter is an ancient city on the River Exe in southwest England. Dating back to the Roman era, the Exeter City Walls surround its centre and Gothic Exeter Cathedral. Exeter Castle, a Norman landmark, overlooks leafy Northernhay and Rougemont Gardens. To their west, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) displays fine art and costumes. The vaulted, medieval Underground Passages snake beneath the city.
