  • Focus of Study :
    As a Bachelor of Music graduate, you will be highly skilled, musically adaptable and equipped to enter professional life as a creative and flexible twenty-first century musician. Your educational experience will include exposure to diverse musical styles and idioms including classical, contemporary, jazz, popular, electronic, experimental and world music. You will also learn the broadly accepted musical skills of aural awareness training, music theory, critical listening, contemporary music-making practices, music literature and collaborative work appropriate to your field of study.

  • English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

    A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0OR a minimum score of 575 on TOEFLOR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19)OR no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)OR a minimum overall score of 176 (no score less than 169) on C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English) or C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)OR an overall score of 58 in the Pearson Test of English (Academic) with no score less than 50.

    Qualification: Korean Republic College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) (from 2017 onwards)

    Your entry requirements include: A minimum overall grade of 317. The overall grade is calculated from the results in Korean Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Study Areas. CSAT results must be accompanied by evidence of successful completion of senior secondary studies.

    Qualification: High School Diploma

    Your entry requirements include: Grade average of 4.3 in the final year results (where A =5, B=4, C=3, D=2 and E=1)

    Qualification: Specialised High School Diploma

Surrounding Area

  • Adjacent to Nathan campus with panoramic views of Brisbane, the campus hosts more than 4,000 students and offers degrees in criminology and criminal justice, education and psychology. The campus is also the base for research into critical social issues, including education and suicide prevention. Like Nathan, the campus is situated on the edge of Toohey Forest and features a world-class health and fitness hub comprising a heated pool, indoor and outdoor recreation areas, fitness centre, 16-court tennis centre, a training oval plus basketball and netball courts. On-campus accommodation is also available, with catered single rooms in dormitory-style buildings and self-contained flats with single, lockable rooms available.
