  • Focus of Study :
    Students refine reading, writing and speaking skills directly related to academic study. Summarization, oral presentations, use of reference materials, effective test preparation and test taking skills, and taking responsibility for learning are among the topics covered and practiced. There is a heavy emphasis on the development of critical thinking skills.

    Curriculum :
    Intensive English / University Preparation (UP) is an AAIEP (American Association of Intensive English Programs), Certified Intensive English program. UP is a cost-effective and rigorous program of academic excellence. It offers six levels of English language training that bring learners up to proficient levels in speaking, reading, writing, listening, and grammar. After successful completion of this program and proof of English proficiency, students can directly transfer into Bellevue College academic credit classes.
    Classroom Hour :
    at least four (4) hours a day from Monday through Friday, a total of 20 hours per week.

    Curriculum :
    The IBP Program has been a successful experience for students since 1989. This success comes from Bellevue College’s high quality teaching and curriculum focused on English language proficiency as it relates to real world business skills and applications. Also, the surrounding Pacific Northwest region in Washington State offers a wealth of observation opportunities as well as fun and exciting activities on and off the campus.The IBP Program consists of four quarters of IBP, English, and college level classes. In their 4th quarter, students participate in a 220 hour, unpaid observational period with a local company or organization.

기숙사 없다고 되어있는데 홈스테이 어떤가요
Q.기숙사가 없다고 되어있는데
학교에 기숙사 없으면 불편하지 않나요? 왔다갔다 하는 것도 그렇고
안전성도 그렇고.

그래도 학교에 기숙사가 있어야 좀 안정감도 들고 친구 사귀귀도 편할 것 같은데 걱정되네요


A. 말씀하신 것 처럼 벨뷰 칼리지에는 기숙사가 따로 없습니다.
하지만 학교 차원에서 직접 학생과 외부 사설 기관을 연결해주기 때문에 안전성은 보장되어 있다고 보시면 됩니다.
또한 학생들이 통학할만한 거리에 있는 숙소이고, 벨뷰 학교에 다니는 학생들이 해당 숙소에 상당히 많이 있기 때문에
크게 걱정은 하지 않으셔도 될 듯 합니다.

シアトルのダウンタウンから10分、カナダとの国境から2時間という立地に位置するベルビューは米国の最も安全な都市の一つと言われており、Microsoft社やGoogle社が拠点を構えている場所です。
この都市に立地するBellevue Collegeはワシントン州で3番目に大きいカレッジです。
60以上のアカデミック科目、100の職業訓練コースを持つほか、7つの学位コース(インテリアデザイン、応用会計学、ヘルスケア技術・マネージメント、看護学など)を持っており、様々な目的を持つ学生が集結しています。

Bellevue Collegeは、ワシントン州内外の4年制大学編入で高い実績を誇っており、特にワシントン大学ではBellevue Collegeの単位はほぼ全て認められるほど本校の教育レベルは評価されています。

다녀온지는 꽤 되었는데 이제야 후기를 올리네요

저는 24살 남자구요 군대 다녀와서 어학연수로 약 9개월 정도 다녀왔어요
여기 저기 알아보다가 여기가 가장 맞을 것 같아서 선택했습니다.

제가 들은 수업은 한 8명에서 10명정도 했던 것 같아요
학생 인원수가 적어서 선생님이 학생들 신경 써주시기도 좋았고요
학생들끼리도 서로 의지하고 힘내면서 같이 공부했어요
한국인 학생은 저희 반에 한명 더 있어서 그 친구랑 특히 더 친하게 지냈네요

아시겠지만 기숙사가 없어요. 그래도 학교에서 외부 홈스테이랑 다 연결해줘서
크게 무리는 없었네요. 다만 학교 기숙사에서 생활하고 싶으신 분들은 좀 불편하시겠네요

このプログラムは、1年間で英語研修からボランティア活動、無給インターンシップまで体験することが出来ます。


一年でかなり詰め込まないといけないので勉強は大変ですが、様々な分野を勉強できますし、
とても有意義で、貴重な体験が出来ると思います。

私は日本の大学を一年間休学して来ましたが、
同じように休学して留学を考えている人に向いているプログラムだと思います。

また、アドバイザーや先生のサポートがとても充実していると思います。
インターンのことや、他にも気になることがあれば丁寧に相談に乗ってくれ、アドバイスをしてくれます。
私はとても助けられました。

そして大学の設備はすべて利用できます。
なんと大学内にプラネタリウムがあります!
クラブやサークルにも自由に参加出来るので、興味があれば参加してみると楽しいと思います。

英語だけでなく、いろんなことを学びたい方にこの学校はお勧めです。
