Transcripts and diplomas must be in English
Required: transcripts and diplomas from all institutions where you have studied in the past
Attested copies of academic documents are acceptable
Exceptions:
Transcripts from United States schools must be sent directly from institution to Ball State University – International Admissions
REQUIREMENT #4
OPTIONAL: TOEFL/IELTS:
If you have completed TOEFL/IELTS you can submit them to Ball State. If you meet the following minimum TOEFL or IELTS scores, you will not have to take an English placement test upon your arrival. Otherwise, you will be considered for Conditional Admission, and you will be required to take the English placement test during orientation.

TOEFL Scores of 79 IBT or 550 PBT, or above, are eligible for regular admission
IELTS Scores of 6.5 or above are eligible for regular admission
General TOEFL/IELTS Exceptions:
If you have earned a degree or have 24 hours of academic study in the United States, you are waived from the TOEFL/IELTS
If you have earned a degree from the following native-English speaking countries, you may be waived from the TOEFL/IELTS. Waivers will be reviewed at the time of evaluation of your application.

PASSPORT PHOTOCOPY
A clear copy of the main passport page for you and each of the dependents (spouse or children) that you will bring to Ball State.
If you are currently in the United States, include the following:
Copies of your current visa
Copies of all I-20s or DS 2019s and I-94s for you and your dependents.

ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF FUNDS
You must demonstrate your ability to pay for your living expenses and your university fees through one of the following:
Personal Funding
Private Sponsorship (family and friends)
Government Sponsorship
Ball State Sponsorship
