  • For over 50 years, students have chosen ELS to achieve their English language goals. ELS International Pathways provide one with a seamless journey to further education. Students can study English with ELS in 83 different locations in 11 countries. By completing the ELS English for Academic Purposes program, student satisfy the English requirement for more than 650 ELS partner universities worldwide. ELS University Admission Services will guide students from start to finish as he progress toward his chosen university. About the  University of Cincinnati

  • University of Cincinnati is a comprehensive public research university in Cincinnati in Ohio. Founded in 1819 as Cincinnati College, it is the oldest institution of higher education in Cincinnati and has an annual enrollment of over 40,000 students, making it the second largest university in Ohio and one of the largest in the United States. Conditional admission

  • Associate, Certificate and Diploma programs accept students with over 112 level in ELS. With over level 112 in ELS, students can be accepted to Bachelor and Master's programs. Both Undergraduate and Graduate schools issue a CLA to students.

  • Focus of Study : 
    Structure/Speaking Practice with emphasis on vocabulary enrichment and language technology
    Benefit, Goal of this course : If students want to learn English while still having time to visit local cities and attractions, the ELS Semi-Intensive English program is the perfect choice! Student will take classes in the morning and have afternoons free to explore and use his improving English.
     
    Curriculum :  
    The development of important language skills and elements, such as listening, speaking, 
     
    pronunciation and vocabulary, allows him to communicate accurately and effectively.
     
    Students practice conversation and other speaking skills using practical, real-world English. Students learn 
    to write with accuracy and effectiveness, develop strategic listening skills and improve your use  
    of grammar.
     
    Students work on his individual language skills and objectives through technology-supported learning  
    in our modern Language Technology Centers.
     
    Contact America! provides student with regular opportunities to meet with native English speakers, visit 
    and observe university courses, listen to guest lecturers and participate in local excursions

    Students who wish to study English while on vacation in the USA may do so in the ELS American Explorer Program.
    Curriculum : This program features three morning lessons per day (Monday through Friday) for a total of 15 lessons per week. Afternoons are free for recreation and relaxation.

Course information

  • Focus of Study :
    English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is set out to provide students with the fundamental academic tools they will need in order to study abroad. EAP will be the initiative to students' pursuit of higher education.

    Benefit, Goal of this course : 
    Students who enroll in EAP program will ultimately aim for conditional admissions to ELS' 650+ partner universities. Students who complete all 12 levels of Intensive EAP courses will be issued a Certificate of Completion which will prove students' English proficiency at more than 650 universities.

    Curriculum :
    Students at all levels will be offered Language Technology Center and Reading/Writing lessons. From beginner(101-103) to advanced(107-109), students will be provided with structure/speaking and vocabulary lessons while masters (110-112) will be provided with Skills Enhancement Class and Language Studies additionally.

    Room Type:Single - Each ELS student will have a private room in a shared four-bedroom suite.

    Description: Students will live in 4-bedroom dormitories. Dorms are fully furnished with high-speed Internet. Students have the option to purchase a meal plan once they arrive on campus. There is also a weekly linen change service for students. Conveniently located to banks, restaurants, and convenient stores on Calhoun Street and ELS Cincinnati Center.

  • ELS/Cincinnati is located on the modern and architecturally diverse campus of the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati's uptown district. The ELS center is close to shops, restaurants, sporting events and a wide variety of nearby attractions that have placed Cincinnati in the Top 10 Travel Destinations in the United States. In addition, Cincinnati has one of the highest ratios of GLobal 500 companies per capita of any city in the United States including; Procter& Gamble, General Electric and Toyota North America. Many university programs have students who intern with these companies. 
    Student can enjoy serene setting of nature at ELS Cincinnati center. Riverfront parks and Cincinnati Zoo is one of the bet zoo in the United states. There are many professional football and baseball games held at Cincinaati. There are cultural attractions including orchestra symphony concerts, opera, ballet and world class museums.

Q. University of Cincinnati에 ELS를 통해 조건부 입학이 가능하다면 Industrial design에도 이러한 프로그램을 통해 입학할 수있다는 말인가요??UC홈페이지에 'No CLAs for Architecture, Fashion Design, Graphic Communication Design, Industrial Design, or Interior Design programs' 라고 적혀 있던데 만일 Industrial design과에 ELS를 통한 직접적인 입학이 불가능하다면 SAT나 ACT성적없이 간접적으로 라도 입학할 수 있는 방법은 없나요??답편 주신 다면 감사하겠습니다.

A. 신시내리 대학은 정말 크고 els센터도 아주 잘 되어잇습니다.els 레벨 112이면 조건부 입학이 아래의 전공만 가능합니다. 유감스럽게도 Industrial design 은 조건부 입학은 안됩니다. 저는 sat 와act 없어도 지원이 가능한것으로 알고 있습니다. 자세한문의는 내일 전화를 주시면 좀더 상세히 말씀드리고 참조로 저는 이센터 2번이나 다녀와 잘 알고 잇고 학교운동장이 잠실 스터디움만큼 크고 웅장합니다.
