  • Established in 1969 and located on an 87-acre hilltop campus in West Seattle, South Seattle College offers panoramic views of the city skyline and surrounding mountains. Course Information

  • English as a Second Language classes are offered to adults at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Classes are offered online, both day and evening at this time.

    Conversation, pronunciation, reading, writing and grammar are taught in a combined skills core class with special emphasis on the skills for survival English and employment-related English. Teachers will help students choose specific skills to supplement their core classes.

  • Homestays: Live with an American family and experience American culture at home. The average cost is $850 per month. 

    On-campus Housing: Seattle Central offers on-campus apartments in the Studios on Broadway. Each apartment features a full kitchen, living space, and bathroom. The average cost is $1,200 per month. 

    Off-campus Housing: Off-campus apartment and home share options depend on a variety of factors. The average cost is anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more per month.
