  • American English College is an ACCET accredited + SEVIS certified ESL program specializing in languages and test preparation. We offer group classes and private tutoring in our two campus locations in Los Angeles. For the past 30 years, we have helped thousands of students learn a language, discover a new city, and achieve their personal goals. At AEC, our mission is to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) students with an excellent, comprehensive, and affordable education in the English language for their personal success.

Conditional admission

  • Yes, we offer conditional admissions to our partner schools during the AEC application process. Students are able to select from the following schools (for Associates, Bachelors, or Master’s Degree). We have attached our partnership list.

ETC

  • Conditional acceptance provides international students a head start in the college or university admissions process. This process is typically done before your arrival to our school, and the letter shows you will receive full admissions after completing your AEC program. Receive help choosing the right school, meeting application deadlines, and understanding the US education system.  Student can select from 30+ pathway partner schools, and take advantage of TOEFL waivers guaranteeing admission.

    Students have a choice to focus on academic or practical language skills. Class is dynamic and fun, allowing students the opportunity to really merge real world experiences into the classroom.

    Course Description: 
    Improve your English proficiency while learning practical life skills in the United States. You will be at the center of the learning process, allowing you to improve by speaking aloud in classroom discussions, participating in group activities, and giving presentations. Feel confident when using the language in everyday situations by practicing with your classmates and being encouraged through your progress by some of the best teachers. Levels: BEGINNING – ADVANCED; Offered all year round

    Homestay Options (choose one) Fee
     Private Room Only $775 - $850 / month
     Private Room with Meals (Breakfast and Dinner): $1,300 / month

    Our homestay team selects, inspects, and manages all our families for our students. Upon paying the $200 placement fee, students receive a customized PDF with options based on their preference. Once they have selected the home, a $200 security deposit is required to reserve the home. This security deposit is refundable upon move-out as long as there are no damages.

    Activities may be based on American holidays, but they are almost

Getting to the school from the airport

  • Students can easily take a transportation via rideshare app (uber, lyft) or taxi. It will take approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to both our school campus locations.
